About Sierra
If you’re feeling weighed down by depression, anxiety, or trauma, I want you to know that you are not defined by your challenges. I see you as a whole person, not just a diagnosis, and my goal is to help you discover your own strengths and inner resilience. Together, we’ll work to identify the obstacles in your way and take steps toward a life that aligns with your values and aspirations.
I provide a compassionate, culturally-sensitive space where you can process your experiences, rebuild self-compassion, and reconnect with your sense of self. My approach is informed by Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, mindfulness practices, and I also integrate Internal Family Systems and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) when they’re a good fit for your needs. You’ll always be an active participant in your healing journey—together, we’ll discuss different therapeutic methods and decide on the best plan for you.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my two dogs, reading, playing board games with my husband, and getting lost in hobbies like crocheting (and occasionally killing a houseplant). I also love camping and hiking in nature whenever I can.
I truly believe that seeking therapy is a courageous step toward a life that aligns with your values and hopes. If you think we might be a good fit, I’d love to connect and explore how we can work together to help you create the life you want. Reach out to schedule a session, and let's start this empowering journey!
To heal is to touch with love that which was previously touched by fear.
