About Cashmier
The best part about providing therapy is being able to connect with others and walk their journey with them. Whether we are working on identifying the values that create a meaningful life or diving deep into the unknown and uncomfortable; helping clients progress towards the goals they have set for themselves is a privilege to witness. In my work with individuals, couples, and adolescents, my goal as a Clinician is to create an environment that is compassionate, supportive, and welcoming to individuals from all backgrounds.
I completed my Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling as well as earned my graduate certificate in the Specialty Program in Alcohol and Drug Abuse at Western Michigan University. I have focused my continuing education on empirically-supported treatments including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for Anxiety Disorders with The Beck Institute; Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy; and trauma-informed care. More recently I have been Phase 2 trained in Brainspotting and am working toward my certification.
Making the choice to attend therapy can be a tough one. Once you are in a place where you can commit, the possibilities are many.
When I am not in the collective, I like to spend my time cooking, and with my family and friends. I am currently educating myself on fitness and enjoy being active through resistance training and cardio. As long as there is balance in my life, I am happy.
